When ordering prints or other items, it is important to review the cropping options. I crop very carefully for the most dramatic presentation, so the "centered" option may cut off parts of the photograph that you may wish to keep. I recommend the"fit and do not crop" option that will preserve the original characteristics of the photo. Life is not all about an 8"X10" or 10"X12" world, so neither should be the graphic representations of it. The software will allow you to see exactly what the photo will look like once the format is chosen. Since I assume most photos will be framed, the appropriate matting can be calculated to have everything fit a standard frame size (if that is your goal). Also one should select the "no color correction" option as I keep my monitor well calibrated to the requirements of the photo printer. If you forget and opt for the color correction do not despair as the photo will appear slightly more saturated (which some of you may actually prefer!), but in my test prints I find it very difficult to tell the difference. So have fun and come back often!!
I highly recommend the tickets and trader cards for lacrosse, field hockey, and swimming as they are a lot of "fun" and the kids enjoy trading them.
